“Tompkins Square Library, spring” © 2009-2010 by Lauren EdmondSince I painted and posted this painting, proposed NYC Library cuts are threatening to close to the doors on Tompkins Square Library. This is one of the largest Libraries in NYC and can host the largest groups; closing the Tompkins Sq Library also closes programs for children and learning and artistic facilities for the entire community.
